San Vigilio is an idyllic mountain village situated in The Dolomites, near Brunico (Bruneck) and Bolzano, South Tyrol. It was delighted to welcome for a concert three members of the legendary band Dire Straits - John Illsley, Alan Clark and Chris White - who played on the snowbound peak Piz De Plaies, above the small winter resort. The gig was open-air and the weather was quite cold but it didn't stop thousands of people to come and enjoy the amazing performance of these marvellous guys in this white December midday. They were incredibly good playing more than two hours the instruments with their frozen fingers and singing so many of the favoutite Dire Straits songs. In return the audience was warm and cheerful. In the end there were so many happy and smiling faces.

The Setlist was:

Intro
Walk Of Life
Expresso Love
1st We Take Manhattan
All I Want Is You
So Far Away
Sultans of Swing
Where Do You Think You're Going
I Want To See The Moon
Six Blade Knife
Two Young Lovers
Money For Nothing
Local Hero

Encores:
Route 66
Cocaine

It was cold, there was many snow but beauty...and there were John, Alan and Chris playing together againg, enjoying themselves and remembering the old days. The concert was long more than 2 hours and I don't know how they could feel their fingers and voices. Hope they all are fine now!! Gorgeous guys!! I doubt, Ian...I haven't noticed anybody recording and all the batteries were very weak in the cold.
I've got 5-6 songs recorded on my camera but stayed close to the loudspeaker and the sound is bad.
