I liked to listen to hi, the DS part starts at about 40 minutes. And he said that he tries to convince Mark to release his version of Private Dancer for ages.
He seems to be happy with his musical career, no mentioning why he left DS. He doesn‘t seem to have bad feelings towards Mark.

Thank you very much.

From 55'55. Regarding a few basic views during the Love Over Gold period and exclusively about Private Dancer. As Kris-b mentioned Hal is a total pro, no hard feelings projected towards MK, in fact the majority of interviews I have read with Hal he is really positive during the period, and let's face it late 1980-1984 is probably DS halcyon years, however just remember Hal earnt his money from his post Straits career, through his musical scores etc. We have heard from EB regarding the mess around his exit post LOG and during the early BIA's sessions. Hal however i'm sure will see his period with MK/DS as a big help to his career in the wider picture. Obviously Mark was involved in film scores so Hal will feel gratitude to Mark for opening up avenues. Whereas other players would have been effected negatively. So in summary there is no need for Hal to go into detail or bringing up old bad vibes when he has made a fantastic living partly because of MK.
