If more time was given to MK during the event, I think he'd like to play BIA, dedicated to this special moment.  By the way, Guy has uploaded some nice photos, go for a look.

The British Legion said he was going to play BiA as well, so maybe he soundchecked it, but they ran out of time.

First of all, doesn't MK look cool?

Secondly, why do you need to tune a guitar for a playback performance?

Oh, and I hope they didn't risk his 58 LP for a playback.

I was obviously disappointed it was a playback.  Especially as Athlete seemed totally live and had a better sound that day but I cant be sure as I dont know there songs that well.

Yes MK looks cool although I still prefer a black shirt over that turtleneck thingy  ;D Been wondering about the guitar tuning, too.

I'd say MK looks both cool and cold but...

It was unfortunate that it wasn't peformed live especially since Guy had mentioned they had already rehearsed it with the possibility of playing it at one of the promo gigs.  It may have been outwith their hands.

Mark's guitar was wired and his amp was miked so I assume that at least on stage his guitar palying was clearly audible

I find that highly unlikely to be honest, wouldn't make any sense at all to do that.

Best theory I can come up with is that the original plan was to play BiA live but RD playback, then BiA had to be dropped, despite being soundchecked.
