Sadly, The iconic J.G Windows music shop in Central Arcade Newcastle closed yesterday. A place of pilgrimage for many guitarists, including the young MK and also the shop where I bought my first red Fender Stratocaster. The full length windows must have experienced a rich history of Geordie snot over the years and I'll miss the trip to the shop whenever I'm in Newcastle.
