Personally, I don't care too much about these lists but do enjoy reading yours. The absence of Robbie McIntosh is astonishing!

But the list should really be called "flashiest guitarists"   

There are so many excellent players out there who for one reason or another have chosen not to pursue individual fame
and perhaps that's why they are not on the list.

The first two I can think of are Richard Bennett & Davey Johnstone (Elton John's guitarist).
When you point your finger 'cause your plan fell through you've got 3 more fingers pointing back at you.
