BIA used in the final episode of The Grand Tour

For fans of Clarkson, May and Hammond there is a brilliant use of Brothers in Arms close to the end of their final Grand Tour episode just released on Prime.

Awesome! You also can notice MK having one of Clarkson's 'Diddly Squat' books on one of the Instagram pictures. They respect each other a great deal it seems.

Yes i was so emotional when Bia started playing! Really it was perfect for the occasion🙌been watching clarkson, hammond and may since i was a kid! Back in the day i always wanted MK to be a guest on Top Gear as they both petrolheads, i'm sure it would have been amazing. Clarkson seems to be a fan of MK as he sometimes use DS or MK music on his insta posts!

Hammond is also fond of DS. He appeared on Ken Bruce’s show on Greatest Hits Radio a little while ago and chose a song from Brothers in Arms. He talked about how immensely talented he felt Mark and the guys in the band are. Obviously a man of impeccable taste!

I recall an interview where Mark mentioned one of his children suggesting it’d be great if he appeared on Top Gear, but that it’s not something he’d want to do. Maybe it would have brought him more exposure than he would have been comfortable with, which is perhaps understandable.

I too have been watching Clarkson, Hammond and May since Top Gear was relaunched back in 2002. Never missed an episode. They’ve made so many great TV memories over the last twenty years and helped get me through some awkward times when I wasn’t feeling great. The three of them do have a certain chemistry that could not possibly be manufactured. I’m yet to see the final episode myself. I’m planning on watching it this Sunday evening, as per tradition. It’s going to be an emotional one. Good to hear they used BIA in there.

"My Sweet Lord" is not bad either. That's the second most tragic farewell in the desert after Daft Punk's Epilogue.

This one is the best BIA ever used in a tv episode. Miami Vice.

Gutted its over, loved all their stuff together and the use of BIA was very emotional. Clarkson is clearly a fan, his favourite film is Local Hero.

Yep, just finished watching it. I think I’ve got some grit in my eyes or something :'(. The use of Brothers in Arms as they made their way across the Makgadikgadi was perfect.

Hardly surprising they’re DS fans. People have told me so many times that DS are “dad rock” and ideal for driving too
