Does anyone know if I can get a passport "on the fly" at the airport"?

For me the same... i get a emergency passport at Schiphol. From where are you flying?

From Stuttgart. I just phoned the German Federal Police in Stuttgart: That "ad hoc" document you get at the airport is not valid for the U.K., only for EU countries.

That's a pity.. i did the same last January for my Christie's trip... (and yes, i still don't have a passport)... Cost me 2x 57 euro... you can call me stupid

But this police person told me they wouldn't actually let me board the plane with that piece of paper.
