Guitarist Magazine (UK—May ‘24)
« on: April 02, 2024, 10:11:29 AM »

I just picked up the latest issue of Guitarist magazine, and there’s a fantastic 14 page cover feature on Mark. Lots of really great new images, and a nice new interview. Quite a bit of it is about his guitars (the recent auction is mentioned, along with which guitars he chose not to sell) as well as the new album, the new EP and also the Going Home charity single.

So this is just a heads up for those in the UK—it’s definitely worth getting (there’s also a fantastic feature on Vince Gill, for those interested).

I’ll probably post the individual pages later for those outside of the UK who can’t buy a copy.

EDIT: As this is no longer for sale, I’ve made a PDF available here:

Wow, really great, thank you so much! And it seems he gives answers to what a lot of people at AMIT think about  most of the time!

I am just on the way of leaving the UK after spending some days here and was looking for that magazine at every Airport shop, nothing here.
Then I saw this post and feel in heaven after reading everything.
Thank you!

Thanks so much for posting this!

It's sad that he's no longer touring, but it seems to have given him a lot more time to reflect on his work and give interviews. A big upside.

The best answer is a question itself: What does it mean to you? (re. the album title)

Guys, I really hate to be a party pooper but after consulting fellow editors I have removed the article - for now.

One, we want to protect the forum from the threat of any legal issues coming from copyright infringement.

Two, I think we need to be fair to the individuals involved in producing this magazine to try to sell as many copies as possible.

Once the magazine is no longer available we can revisit but hopefully everyone understands in the meantime.

Fair enough. I was very much in two minds about posting it, I just wanted fans not in the UK to enjoy the article.

I know, and it’s a really tricky line to walk.
