well well well

After few iterations with the girls, here is a snippet (not mixed at all)
I just put the recordings one below the other and pressed play.

note: I muted my electric parts and there is no kb intro.

For now, thanks to:

I'm afraid I must leave the project....

last time I used my TonelabSt as audio soundboard it worked, but it was some years ago... (even a decade...)

now it seems the ASIO driver doesn't work anymore. And my old computer is still in Windows 7...
I downloaded the asio driver from Vox site, but it doesn't work with Audacity
I installed Reaper. It doesn't work neither

I downloaded the asio4all driver. Reeaper sees it, but it doesn't see my TonelabSt

I don't have other soundboard/gear to record...
And I don't have much time to search for other solutions...

so sorry, but I won't be able to record some stuff

have fun and make a great project !

I would still like to participate but I'm extremely busy with one thing or another at the moment so I realise I may miss out if you guys just want to get it finished!

The deadline was August I think.

And it would be a pity if your pedal steel is not in the mix!

Oh no!
If you want, you can record it analogue with a microphone and headphones.
Then, you put the files into the Reaper and cut them to fit at the bars.
If you don't have much time, you can record a ryhythm acoustic guitar using headphones and a smartphone to record.
BOSS have a good app for recording acoustics using the phone's mic.

I would still like to participate but I'm extremely busy with one thing or another at the moment so I realise I may miss out if you guys just want to get it finished!

Deadline is August.
Come on, Dusty.
We want you!  ;D

I may have found a solution for recording :

https://www.thomann.de/fr/vox_amplug_2_blues.htm

I will plug directly into my line/mic computer input
if I put the level low, I hope it will not saturate

it will not be the best sound quality, but I think it will do the job

What's the latest master to record to?

I'm having an issue in that my ancient but still functioning Boss recorder doesn't let me export to Windows 11, but I'm working on a workaround...
