Rolo, can you provide the backing track in wav format? The mp3 has already lost a little bit of quality.

Surely doesn't matter? You're just playing along with it?!

I thinked the same way.
But i'm sure that 2manyguitars is trying new stuff.

Rolo, I'll just do fill/colouring/atmosphere parts so don't leave a space for me :)

OK.

i just listened the Guide Track and i will chage the arrangement for the outro section.

Just bashed out a quick bass part and a DX7 patch sound in my lunch break.
Bit rough and ready but not bad for 20 minutes!

And just about the wav vs mp3 thing. If we can do everything in wav files that would be great.  Mp3 is lossy and will effect the overall end product.

Obviously if people cant export their contributions in wav format we can still use it.

Modern studios wouldn't touch MP3 stems they demand the higher quality files!

But whatever we can do guys. Lets just make it as good as it can be  :)

My point was that the track is just to play along with and contributions should be separate. So if the track is mp3 it doesn't matter :)

I got that  :) Its just good practice to have everything in wav. No big deal though...

I'm so hyped about this project!! Thank you for coming up with this idea and letting me participate, I'm not a musician by any means but I'll try my best to keep up with you guys. By the way maybe some of you don't know me. My name is Alberto I'm 26 and I live in the north of Spain, Im fairly new around here and I don't tend to post much but I love to read all threads about the different topics. I started playing guitar some years ago and the guitar brought me to MK/DS.

It's not a tune I've got round to, but I'm happy to contribute a bit of guitar & maybe I can find a place for some mandolin.
I've downloaded the guide track & I'll see what I can come up with over the weekend.
When you point your finger 'cause your plan fell through you've got 3 more fingers pointing back at you.

Hello all.

I made the final arrangement (without the KB intro)
All files (wav 24bits 48K) at:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zzJDq_TkldXhWoStz2GeIb3epn3Au6Wt?usp=drive_link

Feel free to play and record.
Please, when you will share your recordings, please, send the files separately.
To accommodate all players, if necessary, i'll stretch the final track.

This is gonna be great.
Have fun you all!

cheers,
Rolo

I've been working on the previous MP.3 guide track. If the intro is different am I going to have to "move" my tracks to match ?
