Love this! As far as I’m concerned this is easily the best from the album so far. I enjoyed the first two songs, but this is miles ahead of them, for me at least.

Love it already. But doesn't this really need a solo? As a playing out... I am not one of those who crys for solos all this time, but here I have the same impression as when I heard Hill Farmer's Blues from the album  for the first time...

But very cool song. 8)

I think a bit of noodling is in order and would suit this song perfectly.  It is one of the coolest songs he's done and a little cool guitar at the end wouldn't have hurt.

The more I hear this, the more I'm liking it though.

I believe Guy said that there were 2 drumkits on this song?

That is correct. A bit difficult to notice, because there is also percussion...

My bet is one of that drums is part of the loop used in the song, which is what starts the song and remains all over being repeated.

Very nice. Reminded me of Don't Suck Me In, a real favourite of mine.

Good suggestion, might be indeed. Difficult to say how much it makes this groove, in theory it does.

Actually, now when giving more attention to that, they are mabye playing (mostly) the same beats.

As I keep listening to it and playing along with the guitar I've got to say it has great licks in it, maybe it doesn't have a proper solo but those tasty licks and fills are perfect and is so much fun to play along Thank you Mark for keep making music!!

Now we need the lyrics. Hard to understand for me. I guess they will turn up soon.

I don't want no sugar in it, thank you very much!

So am I. And finally with song number 3 I really feel sorry for the first time that we won't have a chance to hear it live. I bet Danny would get a nice percussion solo in it. And Mark for sure would noodling a bit more. Dreaming....

Great start to the album :)
I know the way I can see by the moonlight

Gear talk.

To my ears, Mark is playing the 54' strat thru the Tone King.

I think we can all agree it's a Strat of some kind.  He usually uses the '54 on whammy bar tunes though.

We got the roller coaster piling along
The power and the glory with the song
Holy moly, where did the time go?
I told you, baby, now you know

I'm keeping the balls in the air
When I'm up here on the band
There'll be a little bit here and there
Still be trying to understand

But they'll all be in the air
When I'm up here on the band
What it is, I'm juggling here
I've only got two pairs of hands

There's a pin-drop, they follow a thread
And a lonе voice cries out overhеad
When the thunder bursts in the velvet night
There's joy and wonder and delight

I'm keeping the balls in the air
Tryna keep up with the band
There'll be a little bit here and there
I might get covered by the drifting sand

But they'll all be in the air
When I'm up here on the band
What it is, I'm juggling here
I've only got two pairs of hands

They're back in the streets and into the bars
The trams and the trains and back in their cars
Holy moly, where did the time go?
I told you, baby, now you know

I'm keeping the balls in the air
Tryna keep up with the band
There'll be a little bit here and there
Might get covered by the drifting sand

But they'll all be in the air
When I'm up here on the band
What it is, I'm juggling here
I've only got two pairs of hands
