In the past JF and Railking got early access for reviewing. How is that this year?

I don't have a link yet

otherwise, I would have talk about it here  ;D

But will you get a link this time again?

I will buy anything that Mark releases regardless of what a review says.

Same here!  ;)

Every MK release means something special to me, and his music has never disappointed me.
Of course, there are always a few songs that take time to grow on you. But that's the interesting thing about his music, even after years there's something to discover that you haven't heard before.
Mark's music is timeless!

I asked to my contact at Universal some weeks ago, but no answer yet

I feel the same.   At first I was a bit underwhelmed by KTGC, but now it is in my top three albums.  Some of Mark's songs need listening to a lot, but they eventually become favourites.  I always buy MK's albums whatever the music critics say.   :)

Well, -Watch Me Gone the best track on it... not exactly what I was hoping for...  :think

LE
HA!
Same as me

The review calls it "a" highlight, not "the" highlight.

I asked Universal for a link last time, and got it, because I used to work as a journalist - which I wasn't anymore, really, even back then. They expected me to write about the album, and they would expect the same now. I would feel kind of dishonest asking again, knowing that I won't publish a review. And I don't mind waiting, really (BUT IF SOMEONE HAS A LINK, SEND IT AROUND IMMEDEATELY!  :lol)

Amen to that. Very, very rarely, there's a song that I think he could have left off the album (I wouldn't miss "Miss You Blues", despite its name). More often, I think "Great song, but should have been produced differently". But even those songs are not ones that I would skip. The consistency with which he delivers great songs is amazing - and almost unmatched in my opinion.

I felt the same with all his amazing albums until Down The Road Wherever, which I severely dislike not because it is slow (Tracker is slower but much better) or because it tries to cover new ground with those brass arrangements, but simply because I find it's an astonishingly uninspired album, full of musical selfplagiarism, poor ideas and extremely uninteresting lyrics. But MK's whole career until that record is simply awesome and uncomparable.

@beryl - totally agree. DTRW is 4/10, absolute skipper of an album which I don't see myself ever listening to again.

What a surprise!

Is there a single song or album by MK that you don't like?

I'm glad I didn't surprise you. Of course. For example, from the album Down The Road Wherever, I don't understand the song Rear View Mirror. Should be a bonus song.

It is a bonus song, it's in the deluxe cd version, not in the standard.
