The second excerpt from One Deep River part 2 is very synths and very nice, atmospheric  ;)

That's true but strumming in a cool way. It's one of the longer songs about 5 min. I am sure that guitar will get some little soloing in this one. But I am also aware that the virtuoso days are long gone.

Oh and I prefer some tasteful lap steel over brass and strange synth sounds every day. I just like that there seems to be rhythm guitar and strumming in the background all over the place in all snippets we know so far. Richard and Greg's contributions seem to be utilized in the best possible way.
