Any of you typography experts able to identify the font they have used on the new record?

I suppose this is one of the best font finding sites: www.whatfontis.com
To me the best results from the search are Grotzec, Industrial Gothic, Rama Gothic, Right Grotesk or Knockout.

Industrial Gothic would be very appropriate ;)
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

Interesting album cover.  Looks like some's just photoshopped a red sky onto their shot.  Still, it's quite nice and I've always loved the High Level Bridge which I think may have a bearing on one or two of the tracks judging by their titles.

You are one deep river, old friend
One deep river, amen

The title track "One Deep River" reflects Knopfler's deep affection for the river that runs through his childhood home city Newcastle. "Crossing the Tyne is always on your mind," he says. "It's what you were doing when you were leaving as a youngster and that feeling is always the same every time you do it. You're heading out or you're coming back, and it just connects with your childhood. The power of it doesn't go away."

Perhaps from lyrics. It's a quote from the Universal Music Canada message. There is not a complete press-release available yet.

MKNews says digital mastering by Bob Ludwig, but I thought Guy said Bernie Grundman?

45rpm LPs, mastered at half speed by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios.

Thanks. In that case it struck me that "amen" would or could be the last word in the last song on maybe his last album (if you think from the standard version of the album).

Is it already confirmed that the boxset also includes a downloadcode for all the songs??
I don’t have a recordplayer but I want to have all bonus tracks

Not as far as I'm aware. It did last time but the practice seems to be dying out. For example the first vinyl solo box had a download code but the second didn't (I think).

Has he ever been spiritual/religious before?

The latest Paul Simon album is kind of a spiritual reflection on aging and coming towards the end of life...

Oh, no, Paul Simon with all due respect is too religious for my taste. He transformed into a full-time spiritual songwriter, all the magic is gone. Give me "The Mississippi delta was shining like a National guitar", not this amen and God BS that you can find in spades from people who do it for a living.
