For the guitar enthusiasts, we can see the black Pensa from the 1980's in the picture from the deluxe boxset. Maybe he used it again after all these years?

Just got an email about this. The superdeluxeedition.com website is an excellent one if you haven’t seen it before.

Yes, Guy confirmed that in his forum some weeks ago.

Just a thought, the song One Deep River could be about either the Tyne river or even Tina Turner :think
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

Amazon shows the lenght of the songs. Most of them are between 3 and 4 minutes, very few excedes the 5 minutes.

It's about the Tyne river.

"The title track reflects Knopfler’s deep affection for the river that ran through not just his childhood in Newcastle, but his whole life.

'Crossing the Tyne is always on your mind,' he says. 'It’s what you were doing when you were leaving as a youngster and that feeling is always the same every time you do it. You’re heading out or you’re coming back, and it just connects with your childhood. The power of it doesn’t go away.' "

"The SDE-exclusive blu-ray edition is limited to 2,000 units worldwide."
I think this one will sell out fast.

To make them fit on one LP. I'm happy about this. I've always thought Mark's albums have been too long.

Southbound Again vibes maybe. At least it comes to mind immediately.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up :thumbsup
Now I wonder which song Guy was referring to about being really amazing, I am going to guess Tunnel 13 :think
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

Yeah but there are 5 bonus tracks. If the 50 minutes are good I am perfectly fine with this. I watch Tracker always as one album, and that was nearly 80 minutes all in all. I never went for watching some songs as bonus or not. So together with the 5 tracks it will be probably around 70 minutes I guess.
