You are one deep river, old friend
One deep river, amen

So these lyrics are on the new album

https://www.universalmusic.ca/press-releases/mark-knopflers-new-album-one-deep-river-to-be-released-on-april-12-2024/

Has he ever been spiritual/religious before?

He certainly made good use of the word "amen" in Baloney Again.  Maybe he wants the keys to the gates in heaven.  A lot of my neighbours are elderly and most of them are church goers.  I think most go just for gossiping mind you because they always know what's going on before we do. 😂

That's true. It fits very well with the gospel band The Fairfield Four.
I know the way I can see by the moonlight
Clear as the day
Now come on woman, come follow me home

"Amen" is used outside of religion as well.

Amen to that!

I really like references to the Bible in texts.

Dear amit editors, I know it is maybe too much to ask but with the last album, we had a thread where all relevant informations about formats, track lists etc. were assembled. It was nice to go there and find stuff. If anyone of you finds the time, it would be wonderful and I would be soooo grateful!   I see that "02 Ahead of the Game"  implies that there are obviously plans to do the same? Thanks in advance for all you do!

I think the bow of the bridge from the cover will make a very nice banner above this forum. I also like the new fond very much. The whole new cover pic is just beautiful!

https://thesoundofvinyl.com/products/one-deep-river-box-set

It's £89.99 for the boxset here and if you sign up for their newsletter you get a 10% discount code.
Shipping is also MUCH cheaper than official store.

With great thanks to Brexsh*t, it won’t be cheap at all for any continental buyers. Import taxes and fees as well as waiting times at customs is ridiculous. I remember buying a DK CD…I think I have to pay the full price at Bol or so.

Btw, does anyone figure out what the CD + bluray tracklist is?
You can order here, shipping is much cheaper, only 6 Euro in Germany, for most of Europe about 15€
https://store.udiscover-music.de/p1/index.html

Are you experienced with them? I mean are they delivering on Release Day, what happens if the vinyl is warped etc...  Good old amazon is still uneatable in stuff like this and I am sure they will come up with the box, too. There is no need to hurry, you can order short before release, the Box will be available for sure.

LE

uDiscover.de has the big Box for 99,- €, but after reading the latest customer reviews I hesitate to order there.  78% One Star reviews, most of them from the last two months. That is pretty obvious. People presume that the take orders without having the item on stock.

No Box Set on Amazon.de so far. I ordered the light blue (or baby blue) vinyl limited Edition at jpc.com, which is a very good store, but they don't have the Box either.

I don't want no sugar in it, thank you very much!

They shouldn't have it because it is an exclusive release to the MK and his record labels various online stores.
The MK store told me it was a limited edition without giving any number.
Obviously it will eventually end up on Amazon secondary markets but I don't see how it can be cheaper as the buyer has to pay the exclusive store price of £89.99

I didn’t see that it was exclusive, where did it say that?

It’s here on French Amazon

It did say exclusive earlier in the week and when I emailed the MK store that is what they told me.
However it was listed at £160 then so perhaps they have had an immediate rethink?
It's much better being widely available as that will only lower the price.

I wonder if the exklusive bonus songs on vinyl will be available as digital download for the people who buy the box set or even for all at a later time  :think

I hope. In 2018, there was only a code to download Don't Suck Me In, Sky And Water and Pale Imitation. Why the next 4 songs Dolly Shop Man, Your Leading Man, Wrong'un and Chess only on vinyl. I do not understand this.
