Don't know if anyone has already posted the tracklist of The Boy. Went quickly through the pages of Amit, but didn't see the tracklist. I also don't see the song Mr. Solomons Said in the overview thread list of One Deep River / The Boy. So just in case this are the songs on The Boy:

Mark Knopfler's The Boy is a 12'' EP featuring four brand-new tracks released exclusively for Record Store Day 2024- something extra special Mark wanted to give to fans whilst supporting local record stores! The tracks revolve around boxing and fairground boxing booths where members of the public could take on a professional fighter - if they lasted three rounds, they got paid!

...... Don´t forget the Dire Straits-side project "K Wallis B and the dark shades of night". There are two UK-only releases known in 1987, a 7-inch single and a 12-inch maxi-single. So that are my personal ideas for some new releases on vinyl.

"surely" to me does not sound like he "knows" but rather that he "assumes"
