If Alchemy indeed is remixed entirely, that would be great!
This would be something you’d advertise I suppose, so that’s very strange. But the communication is a mess anyway, so all is possible.
Take for instance the claim for the same tracks to be remixed and remastered, that just seems impossible to me. If you have a new mix, you are going to master that for the very first time and therefore it can’t also be a remaster.

Online credits are not always reliable

In the streaming services the credits are provided from the record companies so they are as reliable as the info is provided by the official source of the material being sell.

I guess Guy missunderstood the question as in previous ones he laready said he only remixed the new (unreleased) stuff and the previous one was just remastered.

But the truth is the lenght of Alchemy songs doesn't match with the ones released in the original Alchemy record.

And also, the truth is Guy said that he believed that Alchemy was a mix between 22nd and 23rd of July, which is false (it comes from the 23rd in more than a 98%) so if he remixed all Alchemy in it's entirety he would had needed to work with the EXACT tapes of the EXACT dates.

Yeah, I don't trust the record companies to be reliable!

I'm worried:
-They interrupted the release of Wembley 85, to release this, which we already have on blu Ray...
-The magnificent synth intro is cut!!

This is Alchemy from BD, but... in 4K! (upscaled, or taken from master?)
2010 stereo audio mix.

i think Wembley '85 uploads will continue after boxset promotion.

David Knopfler published some comments on his Patreon regarding the SOS uploaded from Rainbow 79:

Live at the Rainbow 1979

This sounds a bit like the fake pre CBS Fender Strat Mark played for a few months before it was revealed to be a fake - thinner than his real one. It looks like they are bringing out an 8 CD live compilation - one song divided by that many tracks and then divided by four isn’t going to pay too many bills for me I guess - but all things considered it at least sounds like I was doing my job as far as possible in a four piece line up. I would imagine with two keyboard players added in 1981 things got a lot meatier

Did I understood correctly?
David seems to focus only on the writting credits he will get paid for What’s The Matter Baby that is on 2 records
What about the royalties he will get as a performer on 28 tracks out of the 64 ?

It is described as 22/23 of July performance.
How come the poster (at 6:08) shows 12.7.83?

It's just irony, he really doesn't care much about it.
