GF:

Portobello Belle and Twisting By The Pool were from 22nd July 1983. Industrial Disease was from the 23rd. I’m not convinced all of Alchemy was from the 23rd.

I don't know if we will ever know the correct dates for aLCHEMY. Except Solid Rock July 23rd and now Guy is not sure about the date. I know that I know nothing  :think

Alchemy is from the 23rd night, we have the audience recording and match the Alchemy record except for the last seconds of Solid rock.

Exactly! Why Guy Fletcher sows uncertainty ::)

Because he doesn't know and probably nobody around him knows neither.

Ouch. I really hope this is a mistake. The full version is closer to 14 minutes than to 7. Even with skipping the band intros, there's is no way it could be under 11 minutes! Gosh, why can't you just put everything and let us decide which parts we want to listen or not?

Pay attention....

SOS is 10:54, like Alchemy 2010 new remix for Blu-ray! So the "new" 2023 alchemy will be 2010 remix? I was thinking on that days ago... This is a "modern" live sound compared with 1984 standard version.
PB outro maybe is on TOL, yes...

EDIT: Not sure of this... all tracks marked as "remastered 2023" and new tracks "mixed 2023". If it is true, can be a bit strange mix... PB from MNF 2022 has not the sound of Alchemy 1984 version... TR from MFN (1988 & 2022) too... And alchemy 2010 version is closer to this two last remixed tracks...

The length of 7.22 is pretty consistent with "the extended intro" description. On Paris bootleg, taking 7.22 from the beginning ends up pretty much where the cut versions end...

So, say farewell to the tasty licks exchanges between Mark and Mel, and the band intro? 😭 Guy, what were you thinking exactly??
