Are we talking about Portobello Belle or Tunnel Of Love? ;)

PB obviously.  I'm thinking maybe Alan composed it.

I would be very surprised that this is the reason.
Alan composed many things that were much more complex and valuable than this repetitive guitar/sax duel. Telegraph road piano arrangements, for instance... So why this would be an issue now?

But Guy expressed his opinion that MK and Mel Collins improvisations were just too long and Mark wouldn't want such a long ending.

As the box is an audio only release I don't think they cared about producing a new audio master for the promo video.

Same video and audio from On The Night; I think it is not true HD 1080 master, but upscaled from DVD.

Didn't they cut the introduction of Phil Palmer just before that of Paul Franklin?  :think

Listening to Twisting by the Pool, i noticed that is from the 22nd July, the night before. A pity that it doesnt comes from the 23rd July (in the case of Portobello Belle i dont know, i dont compare it with both bootlegs of 22 and 23). Seems that we never have a real uncut Alchemy.. anyway this new release is pure gold for all of us.
I don´t need to be the king of rock; because i´m the Sultan of Swing.

I am pretty confident that one day they will release both night in full.
The question is : "when ?"

I believe it was filmed on SD video so it will never be that great, although I guess upscaling tech will improve in years to come.

Do we know why in Alchemy there is Solid Rock first and then Telegraph Road?
