Not a name I’m massively familiar with, other than his appearances with MK.

So many people who Mark has been associated with have died this year, it's really sad. I am off to listen to Oldest Surfer on The Beech.

R.I.P
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

He also sang "Whoop De Doo"

‘It’s time to bid a sad farewell to our friend Jimmy Buffett who passed away last week. Jimmy and his band were a pleasure to be around and I’m sure they’ll have a mountain of happy memories of their friend and leader.

In the few short years of our friendship I’m proud Jimmy recorded a couple of my songs and glad that he enjoyed playing ‘Oldest Surfer On the Beach’ on his stage shows.

Our condolences go out to Jimmy’s family at this time.’ – MK

I know the way I can see by the moonlight
Clear as the day
Now come on woman, come follow me home
