Sweet Child o' Mine, if it were written by Dire Straits.

Took a while to come up with an angle to take this one on.
Went down the mellow route for the first part, a la Romeo & Juliet, with a Telegraph Road style build-up for the final solo.
I had a lot of fun putting all the parts together and coming up with that solo.

Hope you enjoy, and let me know what you think of it!  ;D

Video aside (it's great as usual), you hear this riff and understand it's simply too primitive for Mark, he'd never put out something as simple as that.
But then again, from what I heard, this riff was written from an exercise for fingers, so not exactly the most creative way to write a song.

Thanks Pavel! I'd have to agree, if Mark had come up with something similar, it would at least be a bit less repetitive.
