oh man, i love this song.
just listening to Zagreb 83. and this guitar part that starts at about 5 minutes and goes well into 6....heaven...especially that "repeating pattern" that he plays somewhere in the middle od that part....
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

Yeah, that's my favourite all time version.  Great sound and atmosphere on that bootlegs too!

BTW Anyone seen the Sergio Leone film of the same name?  Great spaghetti western if you like that genre.  It was shown recently at The Filmhouse in Edinburgh and I went along and saw it on the big screen - superb!

The repeating bit you say is just mind blowing.

Hey Maarten.... imagine MK & DG dueling on this song.!!!!

The film is great. I often think that the scene with the arranged wedding may have insired Prairie Wedding as well.

Do you live in Edinburgh too dmg?

Only about 20 miles outside the city centre and I went to university there so it's like my second home.

No probs.  You name the time and place.  I think somewhere in Edinburgh would be best and weekends for me.

BTW You don't live very far from Phil Cunningham (South Queensferry).

The alchemy version has a very cool JI base.
