Also from the Emmylou tour, he strummed his heart out on Born to Run and Richard played the lead.

You sure?

never heard of that. I bet Guy's response is about Romeo

Mark said in an interview that he plays the Hank Marvin style with the Jurassic strat on You don't know you're born

of course, Richard has the same kind of sound on several songs but it doesn't proove that he plays this solo

the sound on that song is the same as on Our shangri-La, Everybody pays etc.. and it's Mark for sure

This is my recollection as well, it's MK. Sounds like MK as well.

I have a vague memory of MK speaking about this to Johnnie Walker on Radio 2 when the album came out but don't have it to hand to check out. I do remember he spoke about Chad's drumming on the track.

I recall MK talking about "you don't know you're born" and telling he wanted to play a solo like Hank Marvin.

He played the same solo, note by note, on Jimmy Webb 's "by the time I got to Phoenix"

Minute 2.53

"Broken Bones" is another song that Richard played lead guitar, isn't it?
At least I can remember seeing him play lead on the Tracker Tour, but I don't know if he played lead on the album as well.
This is all the heaven we've got, right here where we are in our Shangri-La.

Total different solo but indeed, its the same style.
