I insist that they are uploading those audio files to the YouTube account, and that all those MP3 are from recordings we already have in better formats so if you don't buy the guitars you are not losing a thing.

Can't understand that feeling and I don't think it's a language barrier thing. Those bonus are not anything that valuable at all by themselves as we all have it already. They are valuable as a bonus for those who buy the guitar, those who don't, are not losing anything that special.
You might get lucky, now and then

Maybe it's a language barrier thing here ...

But we agree: They are not selling the USB stick and the mp3s. They are an added bonus. However, so far the only way of getting those mp3s is to buy the guitar. So, I don't know. It sucks big time any way you look at it.

https://legendsseries.direstraits.com/

The word "bonus" is not used at any time.

They are selling a package containing the following for £247.50:

BROTHERS IN ARMS EDITION
Limited-edition 1:4 scale replica National O Resonator guitar, nestled in an embroidered guitar case
32GB ‘Brothers In Arms’ engraved USB key, which includes ‘Best Of’ recordings from the Brothers In Arms tour.
Frameable 3D Brothers In Arms 8″x10″ print
Brothers In Arms Lanyard
Brothers In Arms Laminate
Brothers In Arms Retro Pin
Guitar Display Stand

OK, not explicitly, but the focus is on the guitar, the main article for sale. The rest I call "case candy". ANYWAYS, I for one am not buying the dog-gone highly-collectible toy guitar to get those mp3s  ;D

Are they kidding with that price ?!!!   :o

And we don't even know which shows !
If it's to get yet another version of Wembley '85 or Sydney '86 ...   ::)

Let's have rarities for a change :
How about MK and JJ Cale - Sweetwater Cafe, San Francisco ?
We all know it was recorded ...

now that would be something, BUT, i have been hunting this for years now, was in contact with JJ's manager, to no avail. as far as i was told there was NO recording. so where did you hear this?
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

what they are releasing is nothing exlusive, we HAVE those recordings in flac in our unlimited project. so for us die hard fans there is not need to buy this.

What I am expecting here is, unreleased, soundboard quality recordings from the BIA tour. Do we have these already in Unlimited? Outwith the widely shared Wembley, Sydney, San Antonio etc…

Am I clutching at straws by expecting this?

The last concert on April 26, 1986 from Sydney would have made me very happy. Same with July 10, 1985 from Wembley Arena. Both were filmed and shown on TV
I want the whole concert, not the best.
I know the way I can see by the moonlight
Clear as the day
Now come on woman, come follow me home

From memory the latest 4K edition by binone on YouTube was sourced from master tapes from the Australian TV company so MK’s people isn’t getting anything better than that.

This is the link to that copy. I have to say it comes from a reel tape that was converted to digital with a low bitrate. The audio, for me, is the best existing. The video, upgraded with AI, can show artifacts because of the low bitrate of the transfer made from the original reel tape.

I see GF was unaware of this release and knows nothing about the live recordings from the BIA tour. I wonder if it’s a mistake and it is live recordings from MK’s solo tours.

Seems pretty likely it's a mistake, as you say. Guy is pretty up to date on releases and have known about any BIA recordings.
