There are different sources for these concerts, i didn't compared with all of them and the files doesn't mention the source.

They sound excellent but, again, this is a bonus, the item is the mini guitar replica. The content of the bonus is not what matters really.

That's your opinion, others take a different view. Frankly I see a lot more questions from people about the music than the model, suggesting the music matters more to a lot of people.

Yeah, and others have a different opinion.

If the extra stuff wasn't a factor before people decided to purchase, it wouldn't be included.

These are companies selling these things, and companies are interested in profit. Any additional items increase cost which means less profit. If they thought people would buy anyway without the extra stuff it wouldn't be included.

You are paying for the entire package, not just the guitar.

At any rate it is a sh*tty way to treat fans. If indeed these recordings, although being well-known to the fan community, have been professionally processed and now have a lot better quality, fans should be able to get hold of them without having to buy expensive trinkets.

They have not been professionailly processed in a "studio recording from a record company" like any official release would be treated, so you are not losing nothing. It sounds excellent, as probably sounds the best sources of Sydney, Wembley and San Antonio we already have, maybe slighlty better but not that noticiable at all.

You can count me in with you on that take.

Lets make a poll.

Let's not, nobody really cares, and Julio is the only one persisting with this take :)

You never left a chance to make clear you are right, don't you?

Ok, waiting for the next one.

Never said I was right, just giving my OPINION that there was no need for a poll because you are the only person taking that view. But anyone is free to create a poll, knock yourselves out...

I think actually I, for one – and for once – share Julio's view.

But, please, no poll. Let's settle this like men in 2022: By bickering on the internet.

The model guitar is over priced tat so the only thing of interest here are the recordings.
They could make £15 a download with each show so they would easily make more from those than the guitar.
I'm amazed that MK/DS management are leaving so much money on the table-crazy business sense!
Instead of the recordings the fans get another two fingers(MK is old school) for Christmas :disbelief

Agree on the downloads. Actually I think that's the product they should go for, but guess their hands are tied.

In what way?

That they need from MK side provide them with the recordings and, you know, MK only looks forward.

Except they don’t,they have the recordings, in fact they just released them officially.

If anyone still wants to buy the toy guitar they have reduced the price to "only" *checks notes*... £247.50, I guess they overestimated demand for this limited edition product.

Yes, this product still perplexes me a lot. I think album releases should look something like this nowadays. I don't want CDs, give me something unique! They should've packed all these box sets, 1996—2007 and 2019—2018, and put it out with this guitar, complete with hi-res 24bit/192kHz audio on a USB-C drive, a bunch of bonuses and whatnot. THAT would sell like ice cream on a hot day. But the music industry is still driven by dinosaurs.
