Yeah, it's amazing. Mark's songs are well-suited for female voices, not only for baritone/bass/macho singers.

The guitarist was excellent and the singer had a great voice, but she just sounded too over-dramatic when compared to the MK version from Toronto 2001 which followed on YT.   It's always nice to hear different renditions of BIA though.

Something I think essential to the song is the gentle vocal with the guitar piercing through it like shells exploding in the battlefield.

That's what I was trying to say, dmg, but you said it better than me!   I love the contrast between the guitar and the vocal.   :)
