For me, too, Natural Selection is his masterpiece.

I also agree, his first 2 albums are great, lots to enjoy. I am not listening to the snippets from his latest album, as I want to hear the whole of each song. Val, I have just listens to Another Gale Blows again for the first time in years, and I forgot how good it is.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

I love Bruce Molsky's voice and Guy's vocals complement it superbly.   :)

An update!  I have been listening a lot to Anomaly since my last post and I am pleased to say that I'm beginning to like it the more I listen.   Of course, there are synths on every track, but through earphones they sound pretty OK to me.   I would say that it is a grower and sometimes these are the albums which stay longer, rather than those that are instantly likeable.  I knew that I had cracked it when I began to hear melodies and phrases in my head when I least expected it!  My favourite track at the moment is "Silver Sun". :)

Having listened to the audio 'snippets' - sadly it's not my cup of tea at all......

It wasn't my cup of tea when I first listened to it, not being a synth fan, but I persevered after leaving it alone for a few days.   It will never be one of my favourites of Guy's albums, unlike Natural Selection, which I still listen to, but it's better than I thought in the beginning. I didn't listen to the snippets until after I had ordered the album and thought I had made a big mistake when I listened to the whole album.  It was quite expensive at £14 plus VAT and postage - £18.63!    In future I will download!

I checked yesterday and couldn’t see it. I’m not a premium user but I don’t think it matters.

Guy does everything "right", and he does have a pleasant voice, but his albums lack nerve and spark. (Exactly why he shouldn't have such a prominent role in Mark's projects.)
gotta agree. also, the cd has been lying here for a week now, not yet bothered to listen. listening to a lot of Floyd currently.
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

Me neither! Too much synth and I miss the sound of the guitar, but the cover artwork is amazing.
