Alan Hull : BBC 4 MK Interview
« on: November 21, 2021, 11:50:11 AM »
Hi Everyone. I'm told that there will be a documentary here in the UK on BBC 4, 21:00 this coming Friday (26 November) on Alan Hull, the former Lindisfarne frontman who died tragically early. Lindisfarne are another group of great North East musicians, and the programme is titled 'Lindisfarne's Geordie Genius- Alan Hull'.

I understand that a number of famous faces are interviewed including Sting, Elvis Costelloe and our very own MK - who many others might call a Geordie Genius too....

Here's a little photo extract....

Hope you enjoy!

Harry

Mark needs new shoes. He looks like he just finished elementary school.

Maybe time to dig the Alchemy red shoes out of their box.

Are they not onitsuka trainers? I suspect they are very comfortable and practical!

Glad to see Mark is looking well.

What's the last time we've seen a picture of MK? Was it the Sterling Moss tribute in October of 2020?

That doesn't look recent to me, there's a significant change in Mark's appearance between 2015 and 2019. In that videoclip he looks more like the 2015 MK than the 2019 MK to me. Watch this video and you'll know what i mean

Nevermind, the most recent picture of MK is on Guy's instagram at John's book launch together with Hal. Here it is

That's just a lovely photo.  Quite heartwarming to see old pals together like that.

Observations: John sure likes his waistcoats and Mark was feeling the cold when leaving the house.

Well there's an hour I'll never get back.  Hate these sickening appreciation shows.

I can't believe I sat through it all!    For what?  Two minutes maximum of MK towards the end! :disbelief
