Oh my life, what a lego set! Very nice indeed...
I'm not getting involved in the Brexit debate on here and actually I'm not sure this fantastic forum is the place to discuss that...

Indeed, and they had the audacity to mention EC! Anyway first impression and it looks good. The guitar is based on a 1970s Strat and they have big headstocks like the model.  I'm not keen on the 5 way selector switch and will do something different. Love the in depth amplifier with all the electrical parts inside! I will take the plunge and buy one...may even put a small MK signature on the headstock too!!

let the brexit games begin!!

Boris asks for German Lorry drivers, after the ones from Poland denied his offer (to work over there in Brexitland until December to save Christmas for his people and his ass, after he kicked all those people out of his country) I am absolutely speechless about this guy and the way he treats people, his own included. Just imagine how desparated he must be to - especially - ask ze Germans. And how much more desparated he will be when he gets their answers. It would be really ridiculous if it was not so sad!
P. S. Good luck with the Lego set. Maybe Easter 2022? Corned Beef City is the MK song of the hour it seems.

Just don't know what it is with some people.  Hints and mentions every other week of the B word is bloody annoying and frankly none of your business.  You are not British and don't understand as a majority we don't feel European possibly by not being on mainland Europe.  I am sick to the back teeth of this.  Certain people, including a so-called moderator, have been showing themselves in an extremely poor light in what is supposed to be a Mark Knopfler forum.

I for one am more proud to have left the EU than the day I voted after the way they have subsequently treated us.  I would go as far as to say they are evil, but if you want to be a part of an organisation that tried to block vaccinations and PPE coming to the UK (thereby risking lives) then you're welcome to it.  Nice folk at the EU.   :wave

Actually well put dmg, I have read some 'political' trollop today on here. It's funny we've been having an excellent time on this forum of late but it seems a few 'bad eggs' come along and spoil things....Who is the supposed moderator on here putting questionable comments on here I wonder? This person is not a good advert for being a good moderator it seems...
Quite frankly I thought I wouldn't reply because this really isn't the place to discuss politics but I'm with dmg in saying mind your own business. We are all here to discuss MK - nothing more nothing less...

As related to the thread as many other themes I guess. Your last two posts, first the one to dmg and then directly after that  the one to me made me laugh (again) because of their different approach.

And it's Pottel who is attacked by dmg here in a pretty rude way, Knopflerfan, with calling him  a "so-called-moderator". Just to let you know.

dmg, I don't like to be told what's my business and what's not. To say Brexit would only be related to me if I was British, shows a very narrow minded view in this case somewhat. Or am I for example only supposed to hear German music and no MK, only because I am German?

After the last years of crazy political debate and behaviour of especially Boris Johnson, Brexit was made as annoying as f@%k by the British government to all the world, not only to Europeans. Be assured that you are not the only one who is annoyed. If any, I was attacking Boris Johnson and not the British people or personally you. That's part of discussion culture.

I see a direct connection in talking about Lego as a present for Christmas (it's not UK made by the way) and the current bad situation in British supermarkets indeed. But maybe MK will bless us with a new  song about it (My Bacon Beef City) so that dmg allows us to talk about it here again.

I am into Lego by the way but stopped buying it as it is totally overprized and has lost it's spirit long ago. Last sets that were really good are the Saturn V and the Routemaster Bus. This year's product lines mostly are not referring to children anymore but are targeted to Adults only, wealthy Adults. The same ones who generally buy overprized concert  tickets or Deluxe content.

Let’s stop talking about politics on AMIT please. No good will come of it. There are thousands of other places to talk politics online if you so wish.
