I haven't seen him in Eugene Oregon before.   I'll choose that and Portland over Oakland.  Traffic into Oakland is too much for me.    I'm still hoping for a date between Eugene and Oakland to be in Jacksonville.   With the early dates, will most of the US dates be indoors?   That may be why Berkeley and Jacksonville are out.   Berkeley in late June is cool, at the best.   In April it would be icicle city.

d'oh! As soon as I read your post and thought about it for a second I realized...it's the guy from the Heavy Fuel video.

I've already checked out the seating chart for Paramount Theatre Oakland and Well Fargo arts center in Santa Rosa.  I am 15 minutes away from Oakland and about 2 hrs to Santa Rosa. I want to be the first person to get the best seat on Monday on MK.com. Any tips on what to do?

Paramount Theatre seats around 3,000
Santa Rosa 1,800

I can't resist the temptation of checking out Temecula Ca Pechaga Casino and Resort venue seats around 1,200.   A beautiful Casino Resort and what can be better venue for GET LUCKY Tour !  Who knows MK and the band might try their lucks at the casino and I might get LUCKY and bump into them somewhere.   :) Or even just to think that I with my best friend (hopefully I can convince her to come along) are spending the night in the same hotel with the band and the possibility of meeting them is great is enough to make me want to take that 6 hrs drive there. So, April 13, 14 and 15 for me.

Did anyone noticed that NASHVILLE IS NOT in the US tour this time?

It looks quite shorter that latest US tour, not so many Canadian venues

I am going to Oakland Paramount Theatre, Santa Rosa and possible Temecula CA a casino resort hotel. (what can be better venue for GL Tour) Just the thought of being in the same hotel with MK and the band is enough to excite me.  Hope I get LUCKY and bump into him somewhere in the casino ? Or may be I'll think of a better way to meet up with MK and the band ?

Well, last time the US tour dates were released fairly late (early 2008 if I remember correctly), and they weren't all released at once. Anyway, this looks official.

Interesting that he is playing much smaller venues this time:

NJPAC, Newark, NJ = 2,750 seats [2001, 2005, 2008]
Count Basie Theatre, Red Bank, NJ = 1,543 seats [2009]

whoops...it is really strange...MK plays even smaller venues in US/Canada (and he always played there in smaller venues then in the most of Europe). When he played in Prague in 2008, the gig was located to T-Mobile Arena (I suppose there were about 8,000 people in the audience), so really no "little" venue, and the 2010 concert should be in O2 arena - it is even much bigger then T-Mobile Arena!!  :o
