Any sign of a 2009-2018 collection yet?

if you consider that there have been box sets since 2009 (Get Lucky), I m not sure there will be a 2009-2018 collection

I expect Mark's next record to be his last and after that we will have a 2008-2022 or whenever Box with the new one included with hopefully some more vinyl  bonus stuff.

LE

It all depends on the title and cover picture, and especially lyrics, intuition seems to work pretty good when it comes to whether it was intended as the last one or not. The 2009–20XX collection would be nice because LPs for the newer albums, though released properly, are sometimes still hard to find.

Well, I'm happy to have these albums on vinyl.

Especially GH & STP.....

Yep me too.
Those new t-shirts are awful though.

T shirts aren't great but I like the turntable mat though...

Just put my order in for the Vinyl box set and this got me thinking...
This will obviously be the first time on Vinyl for GH & STP and also the B sides. But also TRD and Shangri-la were only released as limited editions which I never had! I have KTGC on Vinyl with the added CD....

Obviously All the Roadrunning (2006) wasn't deemed good enough for a re-release??

Turns out Kill To Get Vinyl is also extremely hard to find, as well as every other limited one, so all the LPs are still pretty valuable and this release is a breath of fresh air (until, of course, it will be sold out). All the Roadrunning would be amazing to re-release because it's so expensive! I know a couple of guys here in Russia who are willing to sell All The Roadrunning LP for $250, but fortunately, I'm not an audiophile or a collector so I don't need it :lol

KTGC on Vinyl is like you say, very hard to find and can be very expensive should you tag one down - I'm extremely thankful I did and didn't pay over the odds for it either.
TRD on Vinyl incidentally was individually numbered so that makes it highly valuable....
ATR would be great on Vinyl but I cannot see that happening anytime soon...

By the way, I do have TRD vinyl, but mine isn't numbered. Weird. And I listened to it just one time. Also weird :lol

From Jeroens 'On Every Bootleg' website (Excellent reference)

Mark Knopfler's third solo album 'The Ragpickers Dream'. Strange edition; it features the blue sticker on the front mentioning that it's the limited numbered edition, but the back cover does not feature any number. Looks like they accidently put the sticker on the front cover or forgot to print a number on the back cover, or it is a promo copy.

Some were, some weren't it appears according to Jeroens - On every bootleg webpage.

Have you the white box on the rear where a number would be? I guess both editions are collectible!!

Mine has the sticker, but has no number, though there's a place for it. Anyway, personally, I don't care, I've seen numbered ones for sale and who cares, it's still a vinyl record.
