From around min 00:38 to 00:53.

I honestly still can't believe that Mark's sister has passed away so early, what a loss. And I can listen to Mark telling stories forever, he could make a radio show or something.

He really has an immense knowledge of music, musicians and their background and I often imagine the band hang around at BG, Mark and the ones like
Jim, Richard, Ian, talking in the style of "Did you know that.." Or "Back in 19.. when I met..."..

This Vietnam/Veteran/hippie quote for example. Just great information.

And it was an answer to the simple question. If only journalists would care to ask interesting questions we would have more than the legendary family radio story.

Just what Ms Frostrup did in this interview when she wanted to ask Mark about meeting Bob in connection with the Slow Train sessions. She included all the basic information in her question which forced Mark to go straight to the point. There was also an interview a few years ago, the interviewer's name escapes me - he was a bit fat, bald and had glasses (I just described George Costanza!) - but he asked brilliant questions. He asked about David as well and made Mark very uncomfortable, I remember.

People who ask Mark when he started playing guitar are just lazy and/or incompetent.

Edit: Mark Lawson was the name of the interviewer.

You would think as a big Bob fan MK would know the "Judas" gig was in Manchester.

Indeed. So Bob did it not only there but on several other gigs? Interesting.

I expected them to talk about the 2011/2012 tours or at least a mention of it.

I think the folkies booed at basically every gig but the Manchester one with Judas was the most famous example, not least because there was a bootleg doing the rounds.

the guy who yelled it was found later on, but he has died since. for years it was thought it happened at the RAH as that was what the boolegs claimed it to be.only when the 1966 36-cd box came out that sony confirmed it as manchester
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....
