I love the fact that they have discovered a genuine way of auctioning instruments of legendary musicians. Everyone's got a shot here, not only Japanese businessmen.
Two thumbs up!
Can't see anything genuine in it, the guitar still could easily end up at some Japanese businessmen who threw enough cash to get enough 'tokens'. That's pretty typical marketing BS and in giveaways like this you can giveaway practically anything, cars, guitars, property, the amount of active bidders will always be enough to make profit. In this case, thankfully, the cause itself is good.
I'v never ever won anything in random giveaways. Imagine 10, 20, 30 thousand people in line and what a chances that you'll win? Basically 0. I'm more in line with contests where you need to actually do something, like this contest where you could shoot a music video for MK, that was bananas! But random giveaways is a complete waste of time and money. Bid only if you're in with the charity, you'll never win this guitar.
