Even just a thought of "new Knopfler tunes" gives me goosebumps. We are truly lucky that we can anticipate and then enjoy anything new from MK. Probably not for another year but to know that the NEW material is coming is exciting. Thanks for sharing!

Depending on how things are scheduled (if the rest of musicians have to go in person to the studio or record in remote) I'd say that there must be a small chance than the new album could be out late 2021, but 2022 makes more sense.

What I don't see that clear is the small tour... Every tour from 2020 had moved to 2021, and now to 2022. That means that many venues are already occupated, including the RAH of course. It's true that there are a lot of venues, and some of them might have gaps but, I fear than until 2023 nothing would happen regarding playing live.

It'll be interesting to see what the band will be.  I can't see the Americans flying over with current circumstances so unless they record remotely he may wish to use Brits.
