AMIT Broadcast
« on: July 07, 2020, 06:27:23 PM »
I thought why it's only Mark who shares music from his jukebox? Let's share ours. I'll start with a 2020 debut album by Holy Hive band from New York.

Track "Blue Light": https://holyhivemusic.bandcamp.com/track/blue-light-2

One from mine...

Josh Rouse. An American singer that changed Nashville for Valencia in Spain. He just fell in love with places like Altea, the "quiet town"

Enjoy

If I realised that the chances were slim,
How come I'm so surprised when the tide rolled in

I've gotten into Shawn Colvin over the last years. Great music and top-notch production and audio quality. This one is particularly nice:

Terri Hendrix is an independent artist from Texas and has been going strong for over 20 years and 20+ albums. I hope you like her music as much as I do.

Here is another great American singer/songwriter, Tom Russell.
Most of the time it is just him and the guitar or a small piece band on the stage.
But for his 2012 live album "Aztec Jazz" he was backed up by the Norwegian Wind Ensemble.
I think the result of this powerlful arrangement to his songs is worth a listen.

This is all the heaven we've got, right here where we are in our Shangri-La.

My pleasure. Producer is John Leventhal, Rosanne Cash's husband. He's also a killer guitar player.

How 'bout some dope electronica, yo? This Anders Trentemøller, a Danish electronic music composer. I'm not really into electronica, but this is nice stuff. Melodic and soothing (a far cry from eurotrash or dance music!).

If you have 20 minutes to spare for an instrumental, and one which is going to stay with you I hope, have a listen and don't pay attention to the title this is quite a political band and most of their work has a message.
