I'm quite sure that Mark loves the Wish you were album, his own LOG album is quite similar in structure: one epic prog piece (TR/Shine On), One melancholic balad (the title tracks), and bitter songs about the industry / life in general (WTTM / ID, Have a cigar / It never rains).
I also imagine Mark liking the classic DSOTM. Guy has expressed love for the album.
I don't imagine Mark being that a fan of Animals of the Wall, this is a bit politcally too far-off for him, but I'm quite sure he loves Comfortably Numb, with the best guitar solo of all times !
I can also imagine David, and also Roger (as an anti-capitalist and anti-war guy), admiring the songwriting of TR and BIA.
Mark and David are different in style, but they have a lot in common: same generation, same consensual opinions and discrete approach, each of them having a very distinctive and unique guitar sound, and focused on quality recording.
Both of them have openly expressed huge respect for each other. A duet would be fantastic !
