I liked everything he played, the first album by Fruit Bats is insanely good. I love contemporary music, a lot of really good albums out there, I’m more interested in that rather than in the old stuff.

I agree, very interesting to hear how in touch he is with current music, new records & artists. We all know the classics by now ;-)
Hope this show continues for quite a while, otherwise he could start making Spotify-recommendations-playlists!

Totally agree. Finally heard Knopfler talk about another favorite Mr. Springsteen.      and the Fruit Bats song really, really good. I put it op on speakers as I have a few Knopfler fans among my collegues.

Somebody mentioned that Mark has a perfect voice for radio and it's true. I love listening to his interviews because of his astonishingly good calming voice, very relaxing experience. Also, I love the jokes, little touches like this washboard thing and "last shot got him" was brilliant. The man seemingly was born for the radio

Just listening to almost half of the show and I have to say that it explains very very well, regarding the nowadays music he played, the music he's doing.
