A very nice sound.
He played going home with the paula as well and did great
Do you remember more other guitar switches?

SOS: never with a les paul, nor a Telecaster
TOL: the same as SOS
WOL: I remember he played  a white telecaster once
MFN: never with stratocaster nor telecasters
BIA: les paul, pensa-suhr

Romeo And Juliet on Mark's new resonator guitar sounds so thin he might as well play it on a regular acoustic, that's for sure.
My favourite guitar switch is probably Sonny Liston on acoustic, sounds insanely great. But it's great on a Les Paul, too!

Brothers: Mark played it on a Strat briefly just to showcase that it sounds like garbage on a Stratocaster :lol

studio version : schecter strato sunburst with dots on the neck. this guitar was stolen before the tour started

video clip and some TV promo circa october 80, and early live gigs from the tour : red schecter strato

live from 8o until 86 : the second sunbusrt schecter strato : the one without dots on the neck
one of the first apparence could be Dortmund 80

JF, a very nice TOL info.
I believe, he played the best at Alchemy and Sidney.
In his studio or tv version he played with the red  schecter strat, the same he played in December 1980 after the robery, so,  he recorded the version between the robbery and the purchase of the new one, by the end od 1980

Have you a LIVE TOL guitarbacking track to play a live cover?

Easily the best song of the tour for me. That intro made me feel 15 again. Couldn’t have asked for a better DS song to be revived.

no I don't have any backing track, sorry

studio version is not the red strat, it's the first sunburst strat that was stolen
indeed, for the TV apparence he didn't have the new sunburst yet, so he played the red strat
he had the new sunburst one on december 12th in Dortmund, so maybe it was one of first gigs (or maybe the very first one) with this guitar

I don't ike Sidney very much. too short
I love alchemy version, and the ones from autumn 85 with many musical quotes
