My idea of heaven is a place where the Tyne meets the Delta, where folk music meets the blues.

Hi, diremark86.  Yes, I will be attending, along with my sister and her son and friend.  I did go through mk.com and lucked out with tickets in the 3rd row!.  A lot of difference from the previous time in 2015 in row 40, which someone else purchased!

Thats exactly where I am (40th row), that my uncle purchased. There will be 7 of us traveling from Michigan.

I’ll be there, Row 7 Left.  I hope our seats won’t be too far left.  I’m going there in the morning and early afternoon to walk around and check out the place.  It closes at 2:00 for the band to come in and set up.
It's hard sometimes but pretty much it's alright

Good morning all. What a show last night. This being my third of the tour, I can say that Mark’s playing was the best yet. His hands were navigating the neck a bit faster, not sure how much of that will be conveyed into the recording, but he seemed to pretty loose. Notably, particularly in his talking voice, he sounded a bit under the weather. Which is interesting to me because the best sounding show I went to last tour was one he was also under the weather for. Finally got an extra song, which was awesome. I had hoped for the MSG mystery song at soundcheck, but it didn’t happen.

This was my first trip to Red Rocks, but it will not be my last. What an incredible venue. The atmosphere, the people, the view...... The mix was the best of my three shows so far. Mark’s guitar was VERY heavy in the mix, just the way I like it. That is one of the reasons I miss the real amps being up close. You could feel them.

Perhaps the best part of the evening, however, was having the privilege of meeting Suprlinda and her charming sister! It is always fun to meet people you feel you have known for years. I truly hope our paths cross again!

Isn’t it fun to think about how many people’s lives have been intertwined by Mark’s music!

Hi, all.  Back safe and sound from Denver.  As diremark86 says, it was a fantastic show!  We really enjoyed it, and Mark and the band were fabulous.  I never even gave it a thought that we would have an extra encore in Piper.  Probably not many dry eyes there.  Thanks for posting the videos, too.

It was really great to meet diremark86 and I also hope it isn't the last time.

Joanzimm, I'm sorry I missed your post, otherwise I would have tried to get together with you also.  You were probably only about 4 rows above us!

YouTube videos are telling me it was one of the best shows of the tour; Mark in great form!  Glad you enjoyed yourself.
