Went to this last night. I've been purposely avoiding this forum and Guy's so as to have as much surprise as possible, but I have been reading Guy's tour diary. So I knew Once Upon a Time in the West was coming, and I had seen somethy somewhere about MFN being played again, and those were really the only "surprises" in the set, and I already knew about them 😐.
I did notice in a pic in Guy's diary that Silvertown was in the set, and since this is maybe my favorite song in Mark's solo catalog, I was pumped to hear it. Of course, he didn't play it. I found some clips of it from earlier in the tour this morning on YouTube, and really can't see why they dropped it. 🤷♂️
The show was well played, though, better than the Tracker show I attended. Having the two horns and Danny adds something. The middle of the set really drags however: Bacon Roll, Matchstick Man, Bonaparte, Heart Full of Holes, and YLT in a row! And no Silvertown, no So Far Away, no BIA, no Sultans, no Telegraph Road, no anything anyone wants to hear.
