I Still Miss Someone. I forgot about this recording. 1998 concerts at Ronnie Scott's Club, London.
I have to look for.

This concert has always intrigued me, a special occasion and very interesting set!
If I remember correctly this concert was professionally filmed to be possibly broadcasted by PBS or some other US televion station. Sadly, that never happened (as with all filmed MK concerts). I still hope it is archived somewhere and will see the light of day sometime.

An absolutely bizarre decision not to broadcast a show with such an array of talent on one stage.  Absolutely bizarre.   :disbelief

Sounds like it was an amazing night, I hope someone digs this out from the archive so we can all watch it, and it would also be great to watch and hear Mark play Two Skinny Kids.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

I'm not sure if PBS recorded the whole thing or they were just there to record some scenes for news reports or something...

What it's strange is that nobody did an audience recording of it, but there is a recording of the master sessions that happened the next day...

I wrote an email to the PBS, in concrete to the Nashville one. Let's see if there is any reply but, this was 21 years ago... I'll be lucky if anyone remember about this.

That's great, I hope you get a positive reply. That was a show with a lot of legends involved, it would be a shame not to have a visual record of it.
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

I have that one on DVD. If I remember correctly, the sound quality is so-so. It also feels pretty dated. Still good music though, and a nice "document".
