Dont know if this will work - mine is a new Samsung box.....

It is a program to copy, backup and restore your Samsung HD, but then you have to open your Samsung.

I know the meaning behind piece of piss - and understand that its a saying for something being supposedly VERY easy - but this doesnt look easy and definitely NOT a piece of piss!!

One of the links talks about upgrading the hard disk drive of the samsung box - to a 1 TB size - and yes this is something i want to do in the future when my 1 year sky garantee is up - ok - thats straighforward-ish - ill accept - but how does me increasing the size of my hard drive allow me to take off HD programmes....?

The second link talks about a system called 'copy +' - and yes i can see that being useful - but its requirements are "To use Copy+ you will need Microsoft Windows XP or Vista" - and unfortunately in Schmonka Towers - there are no windows machines in this house - only Mac's!!

Any lastly - no matter how much i love you guys - im not even if i could open up my samsung - remove the Hard Drive - connect it to my PC and do this copy thing - then put it all back together!!

....if its any consolation - the show is set to record tomorrow night......

Well, record it anyway, then we have two options...

1. We all come round to your house to watch it.
2. If you do decide to upgrade your HD once your warranty runs out, keep this recording on the OLD HD, then send it to one of us with Windows to remove.
