The US leg is coming... do you expect anything new?
« on: August 05, 2019, 10:54:39 AM »
Talking with a friend about this topic, we had two different opinions. By one side, songs like "Bacon Roll" must be too British for the US and maybe would be replaced by another song, if we are lucky, one new for this tour, but probably just a returning encore. In the other hand, the lack of interesting changes would suggest that there is nothing new happening and that this is it until the last show.

What do you think?

Vote, please!

Said it before and although everyone is laughing at it, I stand by my guess.. BIA to be on more setlists and TR to return..

I think we will see Trapper Man and Back on the Dancefloor before the tour ends.

I have a feeling we will see something new during the US leg.   Maybe "Back on the Dancefloor"?    :think

Looking back there were no changes at concerts in the US.

My guess is Sonny Liston could return. Other than that I dont see him changing much.

Maybe Mark will try Silvertown Blues again.

I guess a 14-15 song setlist will be the standard. ;) Maybe 1-2 other songs for the final show with Bonnie.

Mark could at this moment be at BG rehearsing a new song, or songs with the band.  My guess however is that they have gone their own ways and he is sitting with his feet up drinking wine.

@ Jbaent:  If Bacon Roll is deemed too British and dropped then we all know Mark and it will be replaced by...nothing!

No. They have found a formula that works for Mark, and that's that.

Still hoping to hear/see "Back on the dance floor" since they played it at one point during the rehearsales I guess, maybe the return of Brothers in arms and TR.
My biggest dream would be that they play "Ride across the river", he could do it so much with the great musicians he has on stage, then it's a song that doesn't require too much effort on the neck, I love the huge Gibson sound on this tour... just dreaming  :)
If I realised that the chances were slim,
How come I'm so surprised when the tide rolled in

Nobody expects the set list to be shortened once more?
