My idea of heaven is a place where the Tyne meets the Delta, where folk music meets the blues.

Have fun there tonight Rob!
...Well, he's a big star now but I've been a fan of his for years. The way he sings and plays guitar still bring me to tears...

Yes, that's right. Wonderful concert.

Glad you enjoyed yourself.

Looks like there are going to be no changes whatsoever now.

SB - not going down
SFA - that ain't workin'
BIA - why bother - he only has to back up the brassies in Piper
TR -  :lol

The fleeting appearance of SFA is a bit of a mystery.

He was at it again last night during WAM and again altered the lyrics to give some budding Geoffrey Unsworth a ticking off.

He's got a ruddy great spotlight on him for 2 hours and that doesn't bother him so why start rudely pointing at his fans every show and spoil it for everyone?

I don't attend many concerts so don't know, but is this normal behaviour for artists at concerts these days?  I haven't experienced it before.  Personally I find it embarrassing.

Isn‘t it more embarrassing that people still use flashlights in his shows although they are not allowed to. And the stage lights don‘t blind the musicians but the flashlight in front of the stage do.

They should try to remove this from the recordings.. if they could remove Guy's MTV vocals in one version they should be able to remove Mark shouting to fans to turn off things... So far it's all in the mix.

When he alters the lyrics or stops 'singing' to tick people off then they need to paste some from other shows.  That's not a true live recording of the show.  That isn't really the point anyway.

@Kris-b:  I am not saying these people are right to do what they do and they should learn how to operate their camera properly without the focus assist light but it is the reaction of Mark that annoys me.  That one person does not disturb 10,000+ concertgoers, however his reaction does.

I see what you mean, but if it happens every night and really disturbs Mark or his band, I can understand him too. And for myself I can say, I was more embarrased by the people using flashlights than by his reaction.
