I hope you don't have dreams that predict the future, otherwise you better inform the London firedepartment  :D

Managed to get to this, along with my son Stuart, and have just arrived home.

Bush Hall is a slightly tatty but v intimate venue. Standing only and 300 people present. The UK ticket winners only heard Friday they were going - no travel costs or hotels paid - just the gig. Met some nice folk and spread the gospel of AMIT!

V small stage - MK pretty well hidden by all his guitars! We were to the R, about 2 metres from Guy and about 4 metres from Mark. He played sitting down the whole gig, as he did at Hurlingham and the set lasted about 80 mins. To begin with I thought Mark seemed disinterested and unhappy - probably my imagination - but he warmed up and was soon chatting freely between songs.

Don't have a note of the exact setlist. Definately kicked off with Why Aye Man, followed by What It Is and ended with Local Hero and then BIA for the encore. In between............. ? My definate recollections include Get Lucky and Monteleone! Like at Hurlingham, the only two songs from the new album.  Also played tonight as at Hurlingham were Marbletown, Sailing to Philadelphia, If This is Goodbye, and Why Worry. Marbletown was brilliant thanks to J McCusker! Song for Sonny Liston and True Love Will Never Fade were also played.

It's now 0220 and that's all I can remember folks! Perhaps Guy will post the full setlist on his forum.

I do have some pics and still haven't worked out how to upload them onto AMIT. I'll stick them on my FB page soon and perhaps Slavi/Marie/Dusty/Pottel, one of you could take a few from there and post here?

Thanks for your review, draad!
Looks like a bit rockier setlist this time.
...Well, he's a big star now but I've been a fan of his for years. The way he sings and plays guitar still bring me to tears...

Thanks for your nice review.  Seems another wonderful night.  Looking forward to your photos.  I guess MK wore black suit and deep blue shirt, as well.

No surprises here then.! ;)

Hope the 2010 tour has a few surprises up it's sleeve, but i expect it to follow the same MK formula!!!

The promos in 2007 weren't representative of the tour in 2008 (e.g. HFB & Marbletown) so I hope we will get some different songs in 2010.  I can't believe that "Border Reiver" or "So Far From the Clyde" and others from the album will be ignored!   :-\

I think you are right, Superval, and I guess they haven't had much time for rehearsing, so therefore they play the songs they know best. The preparation and rehearsing for the tour is about six months ahead, I guess, so much will happen in the meantime and during the rehearsals.

They haven't the touring band together, yet, of course!   I'm sure we'll get more surprises in 2010!    :P

Thanks for the review Arthur - looking forward to the pics.

I bet the UK prize winners weren't happy having to look after their own hotels & travel costs - the prize would be enough for me but it seems a bit cheap on Amazons part ::)

Did you get to meet the band?????
If it aint broke dont fix it!
