My idea of heaven is a place where the Tyne meets the Delta, where folk music meets the blues.

I think that the tour reaches always a special point when they perform in UK. Of course RAH has a very special feeling, but based on my one visit in a gig in Newcastle, there is something very special in the atmosphere. Very friendful Geordies coming to see their own boy to perform and cheering on him. Happy memories!

Interesting to read your opinion, I've seen Mark many times either London or Brighton, but decided to make the 7 hour coach trip to Newcastle to see him in his hometown.

Is it a more lively and 'engaged' audience than the often more reserved London/South East audience?

I can imagine WAM and GH will be particularly well received tonight!

MM might seem that little bit more poignant too....

It seems as though last night raised the bar, so let’s hope for a particularly warm and memorable occasion this evening down by, or at least not too far from, the waterline and the cold grey Tyne.

Let’s all try to make this something special  :wave

Oh course I might be wrong and biased by my own good feeling and expectations. However, they are indeed more lively and very supportive and encouraging towards MK. And, like you said, you can imaging the feeling during Going home! Have a nice evening today! I am keen to read your review afterwards.

So I see a little pattern here.. if it's correct then no BIA tonight either... First 7 concerts Barcelona-Pamplona had no BIA, Bordeaux-Berlin all had BIA, the last 2 have not had it .. let's see if the pattern continues the same way.

I'm not convinced Mark is entirely happy with BIA & has decided to go with Piper for the moment at least

Piper to the end - good call! Fantastic tune minus the brass at the end mind....
