As a MarkKnopfler.com Down The Road Wherever album preorder/ticket presale customer you will be receiving a complimentary digital live recording from Mark's current tour. This email is to update you on the status of this offer.

The live recording itself will be a compilation of 16 tracks from some of the tour’s most memorable shows in your choice of either 320kbps MP3 or FLAC digital formats. Approximately 3 weeks after the last show, currently slated for September 22, you will be emailed a special code, link and instructions on how to claim your file.

I will buy the shows I attended anyway, but it's just a nice extra recording to have of various shows.

It never was going to be YOUR concert, it was always a complimentary compilation as per previous tours...

I received that email too now when I looked, I bought pre-sale tickets.

I thought they would pick one show for you to download, and that's it.
Compilation, fine, Best of DTRW Tour then.. I'll get some complete concerts anyway.

It never was going to be YOUR concert, it was always a complimentary compilation as per previous tours...

Well that wasn't advertised as such. Didn't bought the album the previous tour through MK.com. There was just word of a future recording, no word of a compilation. So how could I have known that??

Interesting to see that the "compilation" show will feature only 16 tracks, while a single show today is 17 !!

Maybe they will shrink the setlist to average 16 songs? I hope not 

If they do a compilation and won't play WAM anymore, they have to pick  that from Barcelona in the compilaton...

Imagine if they after all start to play HFB/OSAAT/TM as well, only 16 songs will be a tough task to compile. Why not making a 20 song compilation? I they will play other songs, that is

Because if they give you 20 songs for FREE (!) you will probably be the first one complaining about why they don't give you 40...
