as its played very emotionally...

Which is really all that matters. When it gets too slick, too rehearsed, when the autopilot sets in, or even worse, when Mark gets bored, that's when I lose interest as well.

As in the 1985 versions....

Well, can you imagine, with that many shows? There's now way you can muster up strong emotions show after show after show.

Exactly, so it's good that MK does vary a few goodies for us so boredom for him and the band does not set in...

And who knows if he has to make a day-to-day decision based on how he feels physically? If he feels he's not up to the more physically tasking songs, then it's much better for everyone that he drops them.

If we put everything into perspective, I think the setlist makes perfect sense and I admire Mark for listening both to his heart and head.

Perhaps MK reads this forum and is playing a game with us...the more we demand certain songs or express disappointment that something is skipped, the more he downgrades the set list!

By the end of the tour we will have said goodbye to MFN, BIA, WAM, TR and Silvertown only for them to be replaced with Haul Away, Marbletown, Fish and the Bird etc  :lol

Mystical Song

I hope Mark will play Brothers in two Polish cities. This is a very important song for me
I know the way I can see by the moonlight
Clear as the day
Now come on woman, come follow me home

Yes I give up.. always appreciate efforts but this stream is S--T!
any fan doing his best getting us anything out of those steel and concrete bunkers, should be hailed like a half-god, not this comment!
will you be streaming any of the shows you are going to go to?

Yes, I agree with Mr Pottel here, be thankful that people are making the effort to stream......

Jesus Christ, do you know how to read?  :disbelief I started saying I always appreciate the efforts made by people.... Come on.

So some changes again yesterday, MK lottery here to stay
Are you serious amigo? Did you just ask me if I the dude, could read? One more post in that time and Our can go sit in the ban bench

I said I Always appreciate the efforts!
If it turns out it doesn't work, so be it. Yes the stream was not good since it was looping/previous show but still appreciate everyone who gives his/her best for us... Move on now, enough with this.

Come on Pottel. Had a bad day? The discussion is decent and pretty nicely going so far which is remarkable, so no reason to fire up things with such posts. Dude.

I certainly hope TR doesn't reappear and would hate TOL to make an appearance then! Fingers crossed for Fish and the Bird.  Loving the songs being removed from the setlist.  ;) ;) ;)

Seriously though, I've been listening to BIA from last night and really enjoyed it.  I was quite emotional watching the old man performing one of his anthems for one of the final times and it quite struck me.  Alternating this for MFN is not an issue as it doesn't make a difference to the way the set goes.  It's personal preference for some.

As for TR and the songs that have been removed, well...

Agree. Alternating MFN/BIA is a good idea :thumbsup which maybe could give space again for TR

Just in case MK is reading...

Please, never ever stop playing Corned beef city, bacon toll or Bonaparte, never, they are key moments of the show!

And never play tunnel of love. Who wants that old long tune in a concert!
So Long
