Well, this stuff was around long before MK/DS... J. J. Cale and all. Some songs seemingly have MK playing in it, but it's late 60s and early 70s.
But with that said, it always baffles me HOW MANY different people admire Mark. It can be a metal musician or rapper, but he still likes MK.
Thanks for these examples, very good music indeed. Here I can agree that it's almost 100% MK/DS influence. A good catch, straitsway75.
Mark has always declared that he does not feel himself a master in any field, neither guitarist nor writer of songs, but in the past 40 years he has written 'his pages' in the history of contemporary music.
IMO in the 90's he was the best guitarist on the globe, he really did what he wanted with the guitar.
As a musical genre he has always embraced everything, rock, blues, country-blues, folk, pop and jazz, with excellent results.
He wrote milestones like SOS-OUATITW-R&J-TR-BIA-OES-STP-SAN-GL-OSATT and more...
He has his fans who follow him everywhere and whatever he does and who acclaim him in all parts of the world.
I love him.
